Strive For Her is an online fundraising challenge supporting women in Yemen who urgently need life-saving breast cancer treatment. Anyone can take part, sisters, brothers, families, and communities because saving her life is a responsibility we all share. 

 

You don’t need to climb a mountain or travel abroad, your challenge happens online, from wherever you are. 

 

By setting up a fundraising page and sharing it with family and friends, you will directly help women access surgery and medical care that would otherwise be impossible. 

 

This is a challenge of compassion, humanity, and action. A simple step from you can become survival for her.

Why This Challenge

 

This challenge is for her.

 

For the woman in Yemen waiting for life-saving breast cancer surgery.
For the mother who cannot afford treatment.
For the daughter placed on an endless hospital list while her condition worsens.

 

Yemen’s collapsing health system has left millions without access to essential care. Nearly half of medical facilities are not fully functioning, and families are forced to choose between food and healthcare. For many women, treatment is delayed until it is too late.

 

Your fundraising changes that.

 

Through this campaign, Action For Humanity provides direct financial assistance so women can access urgent breast cancer surgery and treatment that would otherwise be impossible. You are giving more than medical care — you are giving dignity, relief, and the chance to live.

I discovered my love for hiking in my late 30s, starting with Mount Snowden in 2021 for Gaza. Since then, my daughter Mariyam and I have taken part in many charity hikes, combining wellbeing with purpose. This year we joined Farzana in the UK and hiked Pico Do Areiro in Madeira. Tough but unforgettable, especially doing it together and reflecting on Gaza.

I am nine and have been hiking for charity since I was four. My first hike was Aysgarth Waterfalls for Gaza, and since then I’ve enjoyed trails like Mam Tor and Malham Cove. This year I joined Auntie Farzana on the Madeira trek. It was windy and tough, but I kept going for Gaza and loved the support and new friends.

On Kilimanjaro, we weren’t asked to reach the summit, only to give our absolute limit — and we did. The unity among us was powerful, filled with support and positivity. Not everyone summited, yet everyone achieved something meaningful. Our resilience and shared mission for Gaza and Syria turned this challenge into a transformative and unforgettable experience.
